As a Tech IV Team Lead, you will be a key contributor to a High Performance Organization (HPO) culture that empowers team members to take ownership, drive continuous improvement, and deliver exceptional results. You will support multiple production processes, ensure product quality and food safety, maintain operational efficiency, and collaborate across departments to meet customer and business needs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Operate and maintain assigned production processes while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
Rotate between various production functions, including:
Blending Service
Production Lift
Department Sanitation
Prep
Cook-Blend
Filling
Depalletizing (Depal)
Labeling
Case Packing
Palletizing
Follow production schedules and coordinate activities to support operational requirements.
Utilize SAP and other computer systems to complete production activities, inventory transactions, and reporting requirements.
Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and operational standards.
Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment and inventory systems within assigned areas.
Support inventory management activities, including raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and product holds.
Participate in problem-solving activities, safety initiatives, audits, continuous improvement efforts, and process enhancements.
Communicate schedule changes, production issues, inventory concerns, and operational updates to team members and leadership.
Facilitate and participate in shift meetings, daily direction-setting meetings, and team discussions.
Assist with the development, improvement, and maintenance of standard work instructions and training materials.
Support training and development of team members as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Complete required safety observations and actively support plant safety initiatives.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to learn and utilize computer-based systems, including SAP.
Strong verbal, written, reading, and listening communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or inventory issues within assigned areas.
Ability to interpret, follow, and communicate production schedules and work instructions.
Understanding of GMPs, food safety requirements, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
Commitment to accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work overtime and respond to call-ins as business needs require.
Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) certification when required for the role.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
Previous experience in food manufacturing, production operations, or warehouse environments.
Experience working within a High Performance Organization (HPO) environment.
Knowledge of inventory control and inventory transaction systems.
Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment.
Leadership, mentoring, or employee training experience.
Continuous improvement, root cause analysis, or problem-solving experience.
Familiarity with production scheduling, material management, and manufacturing processes.
Experience participating in cross-functional teams and operational improvement initiatives.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing and food production environment.
Exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, and varying temperature conditions.
Regular standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements.
Requires adherence to all PPE, food safety, GMP, and safety requirements.
Overtime, call-ins, and flexible scheduling may be required based on operational needs.
COMPENSATION
Pay: $28.99 per hour
