The Senior Early Career Talent Partner plays a pivotal role in attracting and nurturing top talent from universities and colleges, ensuring a robust pipeline of future leaders. You will have the chance to innovate recruitment strategies, build strong relationships with educational institutions, and create impactful internship and early career programs.
This role executes the Enterprise early career campus recruitment strategy in collaboration with cross-functional partners within functions throughout The Campbell’s Company. The Senior Early Career Talent Partner executes and supports multiple programs, initiatives, and conferences associated with the delivery of a successful university recruitment internship and early career programs that deliver high levels of early career talent to full-time conversion. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations Strategy & Support
What You Will Do...
- Develop and Strengthen University Relationships: establish and nurture relationships with key universities and colleges to position The Campbell’s Company as an employer of choice. Success will be measured by the quality of engagement at recruiting events, number of interns hired from partner schools, and positive feedback from university representatives and students.
- Execute Successful Early Career Programs: implement comprehensive early career programs that provide meaningful experiences. This includes organizing orientation sessions, training intern managers, and planning activities that align with the company’s culture. Success will be evaluated based on participant satisfaction surveys, retention rates, and the conversion of early career talent to full-time employees.
- Enhance Stakeholder Management: streamline and improve the full-cycle recruitment process for intern positions. This includes enhancing the use of the Handshake platform, updating recruitment collateral, partnering to establish intern workforce planning, and ensuring timely and efficient onboarding. You will liaise with campus recruits, school faculty, clubs, organizations, internal technology, and marketing experts. This individual will work with functional HR Business Partners (HRBPs), sponsors and university champions to implement the early career strategy throughout the enterprise. Success will be measured by reduced time-to-fill metrics, improved candidate experience, positive feedback from hiring managers, and full-time conversion.
- Enhance Diversity in Recruitment: Develop and execute strategies to diversify the candidate pool for early career intern roles. Leverage various sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, industry networking, and partnerships with professional organizations.
- Partner with Inclusion & Diversity team to influence the strategy and implement strategic recruiting programs focused on diversity & inclusion within Early Career programs.
- Enhance recruiting strategies and marketing efforts to promote The Campbell’s Company as an employer of choice in the market by leveraging external partnerships, hosting events, and conferences based upon the needs of the business.
- Serve as Functional Early Career lead which includes: Central point of contact for Supply Chain Early Career program collaborating with functional sponsors, HRBP’s, and university champions.
- Coordinate efforts & communications throughout the intern recruiting process cycle and assist with process management for intern to full-time conversion.
- Primary recruiter for internship roles, will manage end-to-end recruitment process.
- Identify interview teams, event participants, and support recruitment efforts
- Manage offer process.
- Manage function onboarding for first week
- Manage partner school relationships
- Drive continuous improvement through HRBP, hiring manager, and intern feedback

- This role reports to the Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition - Operations, Support, and Strategy
- You will work closely with the Associate Early Career Talent Partner, People and Culture Business Partners, and key Hiring Managers throughout the organization
What You Bring to the Table... (Must Haves)
- BA/BS degree required
- 3 to 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience plus 2 years of relevant experience supporting early careers programming, preferably in a company with a mature intern program.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment; there will be 3 in-person office days each week in Camden, NJ
- Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships quickly with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of social and online tools to brand as a diverse employer of choice, and to develop and build additional pipelines by leveraging online and CRM platforms
- Strong organizational, project management, and consultative skills with ability to identify strategic initiatives/opportunities and drive to successful resolution
- Project management capabilities, including detail orientation, stakeholder alignment, and execution against deadlines.
- When appropriate: Travel domestically 30% of the worktime during peak recruiting season with the flexibility for travel and work evening hours and some weekends.
