How you will make history here...

The Senior Opex/Reliability Analyst is responsible for driving operational excellence and enhancing equipment reliability across manufacturing operations. This role leverages data analysis, reliability engineering principles, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify, prioritize, and implement process and equipment improvements that maximize up-time, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.

What you will do...

This is the “career level” role where fully qualified, experienced professionals may stay for many years, and some will retire from this level on the professional tract. Employees at this level have in-depth knowledge and full understanding of their area of specialization and knowledge of related disciplines. They resolve and assess a wide range of issues, which may be complex, in creative ways and suggest variations in approach. Responsibilities may include managing significant projects or critical pieces of projects, and they may review the work of, and report into the Site OpEx Manager. Employees at this level use evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. Typically requires a Bachelor’s and 5 years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of operational, maintenance, and reliability data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and other reliability assessments on critical equipment and processes.

  • Support operational excellence (OPEX) initiatives by identifying waste, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership to track performance, trends, and reliability and OPEX initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects to ensure reliability, maintainability, and process efficiency are considered in equipment design and layout.

  • Own and lead a continuous improvement pillar at the site, implementing strategies and projects that measurably increase operational excellence and process maturity by 20% year-over-year.

What you bring to the table (must haves)...

  • HS diploma or related

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, reliability engineering, maintenance, or continuous improvement.

It would be great to have (nice to haves)...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing) or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reliability tools (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, MTBF/MTTR tracking).

  • Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and advanced Excel; experience with statistical analysis software or reliability modeling tools is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$89,300-$128,300

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
