How you will make history here...

Reporting to the Meals and Beverage’s (M&B) Director of Supply Chain Finance, this critical role has end-to-end responsibility for the financial, analytical, and strategic support for the $4B+ Supply Chain cost base of Campbell’s Meals & Beverages Division.  The Senior Manager leads the coordination and analysis of monthly actual / variance reporting, forecasting, and the department’s planning processes (annual budgeting and 3-year strategic planning).  The scope of this role includes financial oversight of manufacturing (internal and external manufacturing) logistics, procurement, and productivity programs.  This role is responsible for reporting results and building the narrative required to drive insights and actions throughout the processes in the Integrated Business Planning cycle. As a finance business partner, this role will lead the monthly consolidation and reporting of COPS financial results, projections, and key metrics, as well as the development of monthly COPS presentation materials.  The focus is on providing timely and accurate business analytics that support the management of the supply chain cost.  This role manages a team of 2-3 FP&A professionals and will be responsible for building a high-performing team while also developing them to be future leaders.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience driving results through process improvement, reporting automation and possess the ability to tell a story to influence stakeholders throughout FP&A and Supply Chain, enabling strategic decision-making for the M&B Division.  The candidate will play a key role in driving and supporting the transformation of core FP&A processes and capabilities to deliver functional excellence, operating efficiencies, and an enhanced customer experience for our Finance and Supply Chain partners. 

 

What you will do...

Business Management and Reporting:

·      Lead the end-to-end budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and monthly close processes for M&B Supply Chain Finance.

·      Consolidate insights from across the supply chain teams to manage the Earnings Variance Analysis (EVA) submitted to Corporate monthly and relay the narrative back to the relevant Business unit partners.

·      Prepare and communicate actionable analytical insights to M&B Divisional Leadership team as well as Global Finance Leadership Team.

·      Monitor and proactively communicate variances of key performance indicators (KPI’s).

·      Support and/or lead process improvement initiatives within M&B FP&A teams.

·      Maintain data consolidations and integrity across multiple systems to drive key metric analysis.

 

Planning and Analysis:

·      Develop monthly Total Delivered Cost (TDC) projections by synthesizing inputs and insights from cross functional Supply Chain and Commercial teams.

·      Develop financial analyses for Management that aid in effective planning and performance evaluation.

·      Analyze and track cost savings projects and initiatives against planned targets.

·      Provide analytical insights regarding monthly financial results linking Cost of Product Manufactured (COPM) results to Cost Of Product Sold (COPS).

·      Champion a supply chain finance process excellence roadmap.

·      Design and implement standardized, automated reporting solutions for the SC function to accelerate insights within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

·      Ad hoc support or special projects, as required.

 

Strategic Business Partnering:

·      Develop a strong working relationship with key cross functional partners within Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain.

·      Partner with the Commercial Finance Leads of the M&B business units to provide insights and relevant analysis around their TDC profile for the month, quarter and year as it relates to the annual operating plan (AOP), prior year and prior projections.  

·      Create and present a narrative that influences business partner to make informed decisions that drive balanced, profitable growth.

·      Develop and drive supply chain finance process standardization across both M&B and Snacks divisions.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

·      Bachelor’s Degree required

·      7+ years professional experience in Finance, Operations Finance

·      Operations finance, costing & analysis background preferred.

·      Understanding and experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.

·      Experience presenting to the Senior Leadership Team, up to and including C-suite Executives.

 

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

 ·      MBA/CPA/CMA preferred.

 ·      8+ years of Finance experience within CPG industry

·      Knowledge of SAP, EPM and PowerBI is a plus.

·      Previous ERP costing experience (SAP / BI highly desirable) related to standard cost build-ups and variance analysis.


Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$137,800-$198,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
