Seasonal People & Culture Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized People & Culture (P&C) Administrator to join our team for the busy season. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the People & Culture Department and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of key people-related processes. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, coordinating training programs, and assisting with a variety of People & Culture initiatives
Hours: 8:30AM - 5:30PM Monday - Friday w/ flexibility to work 1-2 days per week from 6:00AM - 2:00PM
Key Responsibilities
Employee Records & Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Create, organize, and update employee files while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Process employment documentation, including offer letters, employment agreements, and separation paperwork.
- Assist with time and attendance tracking, leave administration, and employee benefits processes.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support:
- Partner with the People & Culture team to coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Assist with background checks and employment verification processes.
- Prepare new hire orientation materials and support onboarding activities for newly hired employees.
- Ensure timely completion of new hire documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Training & Development Coordination
- Support the planning and coordination of training programs and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communications.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of training materials.
- Maintain training records and track employee participation and completion data.
- Support People & Culture initiatives related to employee learning, development, and engagement.
People & Culture Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture Department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Assist with compiling reports, analyzing data, and preparing presentations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding People & Culture policies, procedures, programs, and benefits.
- Support special projects and department initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program pursuing a degree in
- Familiarity with People & Culture/Human Resources practices, policies, and employment processes.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment.
- Customer-service mindset with a passion for supporting employees.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Compensation: The starting pay range for this Seasonal, hourly position is $25.00 - $29.00 per hour based upon experience.
