Summary
•    Responsible for the weighing/preparation/ processing/cutting of ingredients/ recording code date/ for components to be used in the cooking/ preparation process of manufacturing. 
•    Required to apply the appropriate tracking sheet to each bin to meet HACCP and USDA guideline. 
•    Works in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. 
•    Understand and demonstrates the accuracy level required to meet consistent, and quality production. 
•    Must insure the GMPs, Safety regulations, and USDA guidelines for food preparation are followed at all times. 
•    Report any deviation to product quality, machinery, or standards to appropriate level of supervision. 


Requirements
•    Understands operating equipment that has moving parts and must ensure safety and quality always comes first. 
•    Does not stick or place any parts of the body into any moving part of the equipment.
•    Must adhere to proper operating procedures for equipment.
Qualifications
•    Understands basic math skills on use of calculator (add, subtract, divide and multiply). Ability to work with tally sheets and record written data legibly
•    Must be able to communicate
•    Ability to stand, reach, sit and bend for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently 20-40 lbs.
•    Works well with others (co-workers, QA, ,Warehouse and Maintenance)
•    Work with minimum supervision; ability to meet required demands of work/quality to support production line and warehouse
•    Evaluation of performance is to take place within first 120 hours of beginning job


Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member works around moving machinery. The team member is exposed to cold/frozen/hot product, loud noise and wet floors which may become slippery. Team member must be aware of their surroundings.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
•    Maintain written ingredient on designated sheets by batch for traceability
•    Provides continuous flow of ingredients for batch cooking process. Coordinate with Team leader to ensure recipe is being followed according to specification
•    Ensure proper placement of smock; proper placement when disposing of gloves, hairnets, inedible foods and other supplies/materials in appropriate designated bins/containers
•    Will operate various support equipment used in processing ingredients for batch cooking
•    Able to follow and perform lock out tag out procedures
•    Able to follow GMPs. and adhere to USDA guidelines for food/sanitary guidelines
•    Operate controls from equipment and report any malfunctions or potential hazards to supervisor Reports to work station with proper PPE requirements and on time
•    Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Production Team Leader
•    Must maintain a clean environment around machinery at all times. Ensure no items are stored on electrical boxes or panels
•    Exit criteria are met for trainee when all requirements have been met
•    Other duties may be assigned as needed.


Documentation and Procedures
The following procedures will be performed:
1.    Safety Rules and GMPs in area. Time and Temperature log sheets
2.    Product Quality Standards
3.    All product standards run on the equipment; SOPs of equipment; Downtime Log
4.    Production Personal Protective Equipment


Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Understands their role in manufacturing of quality food products


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $18.00.


Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
