Processing Apprentice Operator - 3rd shift

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Processing Operator (Flex Operator), you will play an essential role in the production process by operating and supporting a variety of processing equipment used to manufacture high-quality products. Your flexibility, technical aptitude, and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence will help ensure efficient production while supporting team success across multiple processing functions. This is our entry level machine operator to run mixing machines, laminating machines, ovens.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

  • Safely set up, operate, monitor, and adjust processing equipment to meet production requirements.

  • Operate equipment including:

    • Mixers

    • Laminators

    • Ovens

    • Scalers

  • Serve as a Flex Operator, rotating between positions and providing coverage as production schedules require.

  • Support Utility Driver responsibilities when assigned.

  • Maintain production equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.

  • Complete required production, quality, and operational paperwork accurately and timely.

  • Participate in training activities and support cross-functional team coverage.

  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.

  • Follow all food safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety requirements.

  • Support production goals by maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

  • Perform heavy lifting and material handling activities as required.

  • Work overtime and occasional weekends to support operational needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities.

  • Ability to safely operate and adjust manufacturing equipment.

  • Capability to work across multiple production functions and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work throughout the shift.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

  • Ability to complete production documentation accurately.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Willingness to rotate positions and provide operational coverage as needed.

  • Commitment to food safety, GMP compliance, and workplace safety standards.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Previous production line manufacturing experience.

  • Experience operating processing equipment in a food manufacturing environment.

  • Food service or food handling experience.

  • Experience with mixers, ovens, laminators, scalers, or similar processing equipment.

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and basic equipment troubleshooting.

  • Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments.

  • Cross-training experience across multiple production or processing functions.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Pay: $22.65 per hour + $1.50 cent per hour shift differential

  • Shift: 3rd Shift 10:40PM- 7:00AM

  • Location: 901 N. 200 W. Richmond, UT 84333


Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
