HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As an Order Selector / Picker, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, stacking, labeling, and distributing products for customer orders. Your commitment to safety, productivity, and accuracy will help ensure products are delivered on time while maintaining high standards of quality and inventory control.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
- Pick, stack, label, and distribute products throughout the warehouse.
- Transport materials and products from picking areas to designated warehouse locations.
- Sort and place products on pallets and bakery dollies according to established product codes, types, sizes, and specifications.
- Load and unload bread trays from trucks.
- Follow standard operating procedures and achieve established productivity goals.
- Label materials and products with identifying information.
- Utilize RF scanning and voice-picking technology for directed order selection when applicable.
- Operate a riding pallet jack when certified and authorized.
- Follow all safety, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements.
- Maintain clean work areas and remove trash and debris regularly.
- Store supplies in designated locations.
- Keep aisles, exits, and workspaces clear of obstructions.
- Follow safe lifting and material handling practices for products of varying sizes and weights.
- Identify and report defective equipment and unsafe conditions.
- Report workplace injuries and property damage promptly.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and meet productivity expectations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use warehouse technology such as RF scanners and voice-picking equipment.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, reaching, handling, stacking, and picking activities throughout the shift.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
- Previous warehouse, order picking, distribution, or shipping experience.
- Experience operating riding pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Experience using RF scanning systems, voice-directed picking technology, or warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Experience working in food manufacturing, bakery, or distribution environments.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement initiatives and 5S methodologies.
Work Environment:
This position operates in an active warehouse environment and requires frequent product handling, pallet building, order selection, and movement throughout the facility. Employees should be comfortable working around warehouse traffic, pallets, and material handling equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
