Position: Order Selector / Picker
Pay: $19.55/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 11:00 PM - 9:30 AM

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As an Order Selector / Picker, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, stacking, labeling, and distributing products to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently. Your attention to detail, commitment to productivity, and focus on safety will help maintain inventory accuracy and support on-time distribution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

  • Pick, stack, label, and distribute products throughout the warehouse.
  • Transport materials and products from picking areas to designated warehouse locations.
  • Sort and place materials on pallets and bakery dollies according to product type, size, style, color, or product code.
  • Load and unload bread trays from trailers and delivery trucks.
  • Follow standard operating procedures while meeting established productivity and quality expectations.
  • Label materials and products with identifying information.
  • Utilize RF scanning and voice-picking technology for directed order selection, when applicable.
  • Operate riding pallet jacks and material handling equipment when certified.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of debris.
  • Store supplies in designated locations.
  • Keep aisles, exits, and workspaces clear of obstructions.
  • Follow safe lifting and material handling practices for products of varying sizes and weights.
  • Identify and report defective equipment and safety concerns.
  • Report workplace injuries and property damage promptly.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and meet performance expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use RF scanners, voice-picking systems, or similar warehouse technology.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain attendance requirements.
  • Ability to regularly use hands, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Previous warehouse, order selecting, or distribution experience.
  • Experience operating riding pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience using RF scanners, voice-directed picking systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse processes.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or distribution environments.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement or 5S principles.
Work Environment:
This position works in an active warehouse environment and requires frequent lifting, reaching, handling products, and operating warehouse equipment. Team members should be comfortable working around warehouse traffic, pallets, and material handling equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
