As a Thrift Store Associate, you will provide a positive shopping experience for customers while supporting daily retail operations. Your commitment to customer service, inventory management, and store presentation will help create a welcoming environment and ensure products are available, organized, and accurately processed for sale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Operate cash registers and scales accurately and efficiently while processing customer transactions.
Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service.
Stock shelves with products received from production areas and warehouse locations.
Maintain proper product rotation to ensure freshness and inventory accuracy.
Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and restocking activities.
Safely lift, move, and organize cases, inventory, and merchandise throughout the store.
Maintain clean, organized, and attractive sales floor, counter, and storage areas.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and courteously.
Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and operational issues to the Store Coordinator.
Follow cash handling procedures and maintain transaction accuracy.
Support store operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of cashier experience.
Ability to provide excellent customer service in a retail environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to accurately operate a cash register and handle transactions.
Ability to lift and move cases, products, and inventory safely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
Previous cashier experience in a retail environment.
Customer service experience.
Experience with inventory management, stocking, and product rotation.
Experience resolving customer concerns and handling retail transactions.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail operations.
Experience working in food retail, outlet, or thrift store environments.
COMPENSATION
Pay: $18.45 per hour
Location: 901 N. 200 W. Richmond, UT 84333
Part-Time Position
Typical Schedule:
Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
