GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the N.O. Plant Services shift lead, this position will be responsible for all activities associated with the sanitation of food processing equipment, facility hygiene and master cleaning assignments. Team members are expected to follow GMP's, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wear of PPE, follow lockout tag out procedures and pass all required training. Position will require the individual to work most weekends and must be willing to take not-scheduled days at any time throughout the week to support sanitation cleaning schedules.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will be primarily responsible for sanitation of food processing equipment in accordance with established SSOP's (sanitation standard operating procedures). Cleaning includes end of production and end of week cleaning, equipment changeovers, facility sanitation and master cleaning assignments. Must be able to appropriately mix and use chemicals according to label instructions. Fall protection, aerial lift, confined space and lockout training is mandatory to stay in good standing in the position. Additionally, housekeeping tasks will include general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility and other tasks as assigned by the Plant Services Supervisor or Plant Services N.O. Lead.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or to have food service and food handling experience
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $19.65.
