Schedule: Store Hours: Monday-Saturday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM | Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As a DSD Warehouse Crew team member, you will help create an outstanding shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining attractive product displays, and supporting efficient store operations. Your efforts will help drive sales, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure customers enjoy a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Customer Service & Sales
- Develop a strong knowledge of all products and product handling procedures.
- Engage customers in conversation and recommend products based on their needs.
- Suggestively sell promotional and featured products to every customer.
- Follow established customer service standards to create a positive shopping experience.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- Adhere to company dress code and appearance standards.
Merchandising & Inventory
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure products are neatly displayed and easy to shop.
- Ensure products are properly marked and priced according to company pricing strategies.
- Receive, rotate, stock, and merchandise incoming shipments.
- Assist with unloading deliveries when required.
- Process distributor returns accurately.
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and inventory quality.
Store Operations
- Protect company assets by following security, cash handling, recordkeeping, and loss prevention procedures.
- Perform store opening and closing responsibilities, including securing the store.
- Make bank deposit drops and pickups when required.
- Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the sales floor, stockroom, and restroom facilities.
- Support efficient store operations in the absence of management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, correspondence, and store communications.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and complete transactions.
- Reliable transportation for travel between the store and bank when required.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to receive, stock, and rotate product deliveries regularly.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull product loads weighing up to 200 pounds.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
- Previous retail, cashier, customer service, or sales experience.
- Experience stocking merchandise and maintaining retail displays.
- Experience opening and closing a retail location.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
- Experience working in food, grocery, bakery, thrift, or outlet store environments.
- Knowledge of merchandising and inventory rotation practices.
- Experience working independently and supporting store operations without direct supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and squatting.
- Occasional balancing, climbing, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift and carry products ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull carts and merchandise weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Regular handling of bakery, biscuit, frozen, and miscellaneous product deliveries.
Work Environment:
This position is performed primarily indoors (approximately 95%) with limited outdoor activity (approximately 5%). Employees may have occasional exposure to freezer environments and cold temperatures. The role requires frequent movement, customer interaction, stocking activities, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness throughout each shift.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
