HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As a Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products are packaged safely, accurately, and efficiently for shipment. Your attention to quality, safety, and teamwork helps deliver products that meet our standards and exceed customer expectations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
- Prepare cardboard cartons and trays for product packaging by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and assembling cartons.
- Ensure packaging equipment, including tape guns and tapers, are stocked and functioning properly.
- Perform visual quality inspections of finished products and packaging, including checking bag registration, code dates, pricing, seals, and overall package integrity.
- Remove out-of-specification products and communicate packaging concerns to appropriate team members.
- Pack products into cartons and displays according to packaging specifications and verify correct product labeling.
- Tape and seal cartons as needed.
- Stack cases and trays onto pallets using established stacking patterns.
- Utilize pallet jacks to move finished goods when required.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas by removing loose product, defective packaging materials, and trash.
- Support product rework activities as needed.
- Follow all safety, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements, including 5S standards.
- Store packaging supplies in designated locations and keep aisles and exits free of obstructions.
- Perform sanitation activities, including equipment washes, seasoner cleanings, and wipeouts.
- Assist with line startup activities and equipment changeovers.
- Operate tray-making and stapling machines when assigned.
- Report equipment, product, or safety issues to Machine Operators, Group Leaders, or Supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as required to support business needs.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, bend, twist, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Willingness to work overtime during the week and on weekends based on production needs.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods production.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or packaging equipment.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices.
- Experience performing quality inspections in a production environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift.
- Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and overhead work.
- Continuous use of hands and hand dexterity.
- Frequent repetitive motion, including twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift and carry:
- Up to 10 lbs. continuously
- Up to 25 lbs. continuously
- Up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- More than 100 lbs. frequently (with appropriate equipment or team assistance as required)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Frequent exposure to wet and humid conditions.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, elevated work areas, and cleaning chemicals.
- Loud manufacturing environment requiring adherence to safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
SCHEDULE
- Monday through Friday, 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM
- Overtime may be required based on business and production needs.
- Overtime opportunities may occur during the week and on weekends.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Starting pay: $18.60 per hour
- Full-time, hourly position
- Eligible for company-sponsored benefits in accordance with plan and policy requirements.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
