As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to customers by safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and teamwork will help ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining product quality and efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Safely set up, adjust, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to support daily production requirements.
Operate packaging machinery including:
Elopak
Bosch
Nimco
Jones
SIG
WIP Coordinator (Utility Driver)
Rotate between workstations and provide relief coverage for team members as needed.
Monitor production processes and make equipment adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Complete required production, quality, and operational documentation accurately and timely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
Support and participate in preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Follow all food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety procedures.
Participate in training and cross-training activities to support operational flexibility.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and customer demands.
Support overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility as business needs require.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job duties.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to accurately complete production and operational documentation.
Willingness to rotate assignments and support operational coverage requirements.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
Previous production line manufacturing experience.
Experience operating packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
Food service or food handling experience.
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
Cross-functional experience working in manufacturing, packaging, or production settings.
COMPENSATION
Pay: $22.65 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-10:30PM
