GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for first-line leadership for the shift, leading all phases of maintenance duties. Will be responsible for team's safety performance, PM attainment, reduction of downtime, conformance to specification, quality standards, and meeting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments of the Maintenance Department. Directs scheduling, timecard accuracy, SQF program, reliability, training, and daily work processes, etc., of hourly Maintenance Mechanics to ensure machinery works safely and to the expected production needs, without breakdown or machine interruption. Will demonstrate and model positive behaviors, a "Can Do" mindset, and excellent customer service. In addition, will qualify in skill sets required of a Maintenance Mechanic—electrical, engine room, mechanical and fabrication.
Requirements:
Applicants must qualify as a maintenance mechanic by passing the written and practical maintenance tests prior to job appointment, will be required to perform all duties in a safe and productive manner, and will be required to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
Previous Maintenance Mechanic and supervisory experience strongly preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $38.25
