Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Position Description
Position Summary:
This role facilitates and ensures inventory accuracy of raw materials and packaging. Daily inventory reconciliation and performing inventory counts as needed while working with other departments to execute production effectively.
Essential Functions
- Ensures process orders are consuming materials correctly and as required by batch/blending sheets.
- Monitor and resolve direct issuing errors to assure correct consumption of materials and their costs.
- Process orders to be technically complete 24 -48 hours after completion/confirmation in SAP.
- Filing and maintaining record sheets for research by other departments. Then prepare them for long term storage.
- Resolve any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Help with daily and weekly closing of process orders, reports, inventory adjustments as needed.
- Create and change process orders as needed by production, QA, or other departments to consume materials appropriately as instructed.
- Reconcile system records with actual manufacturing yield results.
- Perform Cycle counts on Raw and Finished Goods in both Wilsonville and Tualatin Campuses.
Secondary Functions
- Recommend process or production improvements to management
- Attend department and training meetings as required
- Create reports related to inventory control.
- Work to improve SAP report variants to execute duties more efficiently.
- As an employee of a food manufacturing facility you are responsible for ensuring food safety and quality by reporting any concerns to the quality assurance department.

Supervisory responsibilities:
This position is not supervisory in nature. However, general direction and coordination among co-workers and co-departments regarding planning, prioritizing and problem solving is exercised.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Self-directed with ability to work effectively under pressure and dealine related stresses.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; must manage changing priorities.
- Detail oriented with strong data and problem analysis skills.
- Proficient in counting inventory with a high accuracy rate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other computer programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with solid math skills and familiarity with the metric system.
- Continuous physical activities including sitting, typing, talking, hearing; frequent walking, reaching, climbing, and handling.
- Self-motivated with zero error mindset.
Minimum qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience related to inventory preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment required.
Working conditions:
Work is performed mostly in an office atmosphere and manufacturing/warehouse environment. Daily, evening and/or early morning meetings, periodic mandatory overtime and extensive close work will be required; weekend hours may be required. While performing the duties of the job incumbent may be working around moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically moderate to loud while in the warehouse or production areas. Work is performed Monday through Friday.
