As an Associate Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitable, sustainable growth for the Meals & Beverage Channels customer sales team (Value, Drug, Target, IC). You’ll be a key business partner, providing financial insights and strategic support that influence decision-making and performance across the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
You will support the Sr. Manager FP&A in managing all financial aspects of the Channels team, including:
Fiduciary Control
Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
Monitor trade investment controls, ensuring trade rate objectives are met and variances are communicated
Business Management
Assist in developing customer sales forecasts, annual operating plans, and strategic outlooks
Improve forecasting accuracy to reduce system costs
Track and analyze team sales and customer profitability vs. prior year and AOP
Partner with customer teams to manage trade within authorized category rates
Analyze Cost to Serve models and support improvement initiatives
Review post audits and guide future projections
Lead monthly close process and communicate trade/sales changes to Sales Strategy and Finance Leads
Planning & Analysis
Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management on ROI and brand profit improvements
Support Incremental Funding Requests (IFRs) and validate P&Ls and assumptions
Partner with Customer and Team Leads to develop sales solutions
Provide ad hoc analysis based on business needs
Training/Development/Leadership
Support Customer Leads in enhancing planning and analysis capabilities
Manage the end-to-end Sales Finance co-op process, including recruiting and interviewing

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
Bachelor's Degree, preferred Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
Ability to manage trade investment and ROI analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability to maintain and improve internal controls
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
Experience with Cost to Serve modeling
Familiarity with Incremental Funding Requests (IFRs)
Prior experience in consumer packaged goods or retail finance
Leadership experience in training or mentoring others
Exposure to strategic planning processes
